Clinton extends lead over Trump

Poll: Clinton extends lead over Trump

(CNN)Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by six points, 44% to 38%, in a Fox News poll of registered voters released Wednesday, marking an uptick from similar polls released in May and June.
The Fox News results follow a rough patch for the Trump campaign: In May, the presumptive Republican nominee enjoyed a three-point lead in the same survey. But by early June, those numbers had flipped, with Clinton jumping out to a 42% to 39% advantage.
CNN's Poll of Polls -- an average of results for the five most recent publicly released national polls that meet CNN's standards for publication -- has Clinton leading Trump 46% to 40%.
Her lead among women in this latest round -- 51% to 32% -- outpaces Trump's with men, where his edge has dwindled to 10 points, 46% to 36%.
The state of the race remains essentially unchanged when Libertarian Gary Johnson is thrown into the mix.
Johnson wins 10% of the vote in a three-way competition, taking about equally from Trump and Clinton, whose lead scales down to 41% to 36%.
Despite having seen off his last primary rival nearly eight weeks ago, Trump also lags behind Clinton on the party unity front.
His lead among Republicans is down to 74% from 82% in May. And only 52% of registered GOP voters who had previously supported one of his opponents picked the billionaire businessman over Clinton.
On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders voters appear more willing to shed their primary loyalties and back the party's likely nominee.
Two-thirds of the Sanders backers surveyed said they would vote for Clinton over Trump. Overall, 83% of Democrats plan to support Clinton in November.

Michael Phelps Becomes 1st American Male Swimmer to Qualify for 5 Olympics

Michael Phelps booked his ticket to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he became the first American male swimmer to qualify for five Olympics.

Phelps qualified Wednesday after winning the 200-meter butterfly at the U.S. Olympic trials in Omaha, Nebraska. The 30-year-old narrowly edged out Tom Shields in the final with a time of 1:54.84. According to Mitch Bowmile of SwimSwam.com, Phelps was on pace to break his own world-record time (1:51.51) halfway through the race before slowing down a bit in the final 100 meters.

"That means the most tonight," Phelps said, per Nicole Auerbach ofUSA Today. "With everything that's happened, being able to come back, that's probably harder than any swim I've had in my life."

Phelps already owns the most overall medals (22) and most gold medals (18) of any Olympian in history.

He'll compete in two more events at the U.S. trials: the 200-meter individual medley and 100-meter butterfly. Depending on his performance in those events, in addition to his possible inclusion on any U.S. relay teams, Phelps could add six more medals in Rio to his already historic haul.

    Get lifetime burger supply

Mr Burger will give Lifetime burger supply if you legally change your Surname to Burger

    If you really Love Burger?
Melbourne food truck business is going to give you a lifetime supply of burgers.
You can have a Burger daily. For it you just need to change your surname to Burger.
Food truck business Mr Burger launched a marketing campaign on Tuesday afternoon, and said they’ll even foot the bill of the government paperwork required to legally change surnames.
Mr Burger team has a history of graving and their first response was to take the announcement with a grain of (chicken) salt — for April Fool’s Day the same marketing team fooled hungry Melbourne folk into thinking they were getting a burger tram.
Anyhow this marketing stir is 100 per cent sound.
Who legally changes their name by the closing date will be entitled to a burger a day for the rest of their life (or for as long as they retain the last name ‘Burger’ — they will need ID to collect).
Marketing manager Maleik Edwards says the competition comes on the back of Brexit and “a news month that was grim and boring.”
“Mr Burger is irreverent and we don’t take ourselves too seriously,” he explains.
“We’re these big orange trucks driving around Melbourne and we wanted to do something bright and funny to catch the attention of people”.
So if you’re game and you really, really like free burgers, here’s how to enter:
Legally change your last name to ‘Burger’. Anyone over the age of 18 can enter. Apparently Mr Burger will even cover the application fee once the deed is done.
Send them an email with a copy of the name change confirmation from the Australian Government.
    — You have to make it done by by 31/06/2016.
Further details will be provided at the time of Entry .
